In 2023, Microsoft Azure made significant progress in AI by announcing Azure OpenAI Service, ChatGPT, and other advanced AI models. Engagement on Azure social posts rose by 57%, but content was spread across three LinkedIn profiles.
I collaborated with the social management team to develop the art direction for launching a dedicated Azure LinkedIn profile. This expanded our marketing reach, enhanced executive communications, and differentiated Azure from Microsoft Developer on LinkedIn.
APPROACH
I analyzed strategy reports, audience profiles, and social trends to better understand the target audience, then created a Miro board reflecting my findings. I pitched and produced a launch video that tied together our two main audiences and showcased how social media is a pillar in work culture. The intent for the video was to quickly grab attention and build excitement and engagement.
OUTCOME
Azure’s LinkedIn channel has grown to over 30,000 followers.
The launch video remains a top-performing post on the channel, achieving an impression rate of over 370,000, and exceeded tech industry click-through rate benchmarks.
CUSTOMER
STORIES
To maintain Azure’s online presence, I developed a year-long campaign promoting Azure AI with customer stories. I created animations showing how companies used Azure AI simply. I collaborated with our design team, gave feedback, presented to the client, and ensured assets met guidelines.
